eventually, decided to go with some NZ fern & flax, this is a start, and like before when I had just done my moon I will now look at it for a week or more everyday, and wonder what it needs, and only when the time is right, can I allow myself to pick up paint and add to it…its a unexplainable thing, its not a mental thing initially, its about a feeling. Its purely internal, and I know if I ‘try’ before that feeling arrives, it will be a disaster, so I wait it out, and all of a sudden i will feel it take a ‘risk’ (cos sometimes, no, most times Im slightly freaking out ‘IS THIS THE RIGHT NEXT STEP?? oh well just do it!”, and most of the time it is.
So until that moment arrives for my moon, I wil keep on with my words and art collages, SOOOOOO enjoying them, totally satisfying to be combining the two talents i have, playing with words, and being artistically creative. I like to tell a very short story, or should i say send a very short message with them, hopefully inspirational. 🙂

I completely understand where you are coming from with your moon painting. I have a painting hanging on my wall in my my studio/office that is not finished. I have no idea where it is going to “go” next. I am letting it “talk” to me. I will know what to do when the time is right. I like your art collages with the words. They remind me of Artist Trading Cards… I think they are great! 🙂
