I saw a similar ‘flower’ to this on a print and loved the shape, so took it, adjusted it to my liking and laid it out on a bed of flowing blues, greens and purples… now i also see a big ‘splash’ coming out of the water, how cool is that!
REALLY enjoyed the vibrant magenta & crimsons/oranges for the petals/splashes… this was an extremely satisfying experience, the attention to blending and detail is something i had wanted to explore in this genre for quite some time, but as usual this typical Gemini has a billion ideas going on and wants them all done at one time…hece the reason i have about 6 paintings on the go at once, and just rotate them around as I go.
This one sold before it was finished. 🙂 VERY happy about that.
