This was a very quick doodle i sketched straight onto the canvas in about 3 mins
I was so excited about it I painted it immediately and the whole thing was done and dusted in about 2 hours.
Totally inspired by this ‘new’ thing i was doing, I decided to do something similar on a dark background:

As usual i have several paintings on the go at once, so while I was belting out the above, I was also working on these 2 which i completed:

It seems as though i am returning to my beginnings as far as my paintings go.
These latest ones are very similar to my first few paintings I ever did, and the ones i am working on right now are even more so.

School holidays right now, so about to go away for a few days with the kids, back to normal next week.

Ooh, the second from the bottom appeals to me particularly. Something about it has a lovely aged vibe, like a piece out of the Renaissance. (:
