here are 3 paintings in ink I am currently working on, they are Peru inspired with mountains, flowers, jungle, moon, winged Goddess….. love the mysteriousness of the dark against the bright colours, obsessed with inks at the moment. 🙂

Every now and then I have what I call a ‘shift’ in my creative expression
This was one of them 🙂 This magical goddess appeared suddenly while I was fluffing around with mixed media, having my usual fun, music blasting, half dancing, swaying around the studio… boom, there she was 🙂 !!
Wow i thought… this is something I really resonate with, something I can get VERY excited about. I knew she was going to be the first in a series… the ‘Inner Goddes’ series, number One.
How very satisfying.
She is availbale for purchase Please message me if interested.

I never know if one painting is going to become a series, until its finished and I feel there is something else inside of me.
This was the case with this series of lovelies.
They emerged / revealed themselves to me over the last couple of months, its been a total pleasure

Finally finished Tribal moon Goddess. Phew.
That is the first face I have painted and, whilst I got the shape ok, the shading was a different story altogther.
Very happy with how she turned out, I didnt want her to look real, but I did want her to have a realness about her essence.
This one also finished. One of my faves actually.
Not sure why, I think its the magical dreamy quality about it, it just feels good for me to look at 🙂
a lovely NY collectors 2 paintings he bought from me, a dolphin & a whale.
I think they look great together.

Currently working on 8 paintings, have completely 2 whales, have a dolphin going, a lotus, and another frangipani painting.
Of course, I love it, and can only operate this way, if I only have one or two paintings on the go, I feel listless and bored & it never feels enough.
ok, must go, talk soon people.
xxxx
Moon Goddess’s #1 & #2 almost done,
#1 needs a lot of work on the face & some tribal decoration to be put on her neck,
I still have to do some shading on #2 face and finish her hair at the front and a few other minor tweaks,
Dolphin #3 in progress, always love my dolphins, this one only really just started,
WIll finish Tribal Moon within a week I would expect, and Moon Goddess’s wont be far behind. 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂

LOVE this!!! Did the background months ago, and knew it wasn’t complete, but had to wait and feel the right thing to go with it, had no idea what it was going to be till it just happened. The cord flowed around on the canvas board like magic, it was painted and finshed after that, in about an hour.
There is a softness, yes strength i was attempting to convey, I hope i have achieved this. 🙂

A total JOY to paint this! It literally flowed out from within, was done in lightning speed, something that easy, that flowing that enjoyable is not a long laborious process. 🙂 Its thrilling when a piece comes together like this, literally no ‘thought’ what so ever,..all just heart/intuition/hands and paintbrush.
Once again, flowing beautiful shapes and colour, blend of colour is my inspiration.
Was sold before it was finished.

When I did the background for this one, I knew I was thinking about the lower chakras, and the corresponding colours (above), intuitively I drew with pencil initially, the flowing cord shape you see, and it was a very simple and quick process, painting it all in took a little longer, but i loved the result, and it made me feel enriched, warm and full of life flow. Also a type of portal opens up with the yellow and the circle around it…. the ‘light’.
I was very reluctant to put this one up for sale, i was definitely emotionally attached to it, but i got over that reasonably quickly LOL! and its definitely for sale now.
